Happy Tuesday friends! Can you believe we are exactly ONE WEEK away from Valentines Day? Yeah! I have always enjoyed Valentines Day because it’s all about showing our loved ones just how special they are. Every year I send out little cards to all my friends and family wishing them a happy Valentine’s Day! For my hubby I always make him a home cooked dinner. This year we are planning on going on a picnic at Piedmont Park like we did for our anniversary. And lucky for me, I found everything I need for the perfect Valentines Day at one place- the adorable local shop, Lucy’s Market.
About Lucy’s Market
Lucy’s Market was inspired by Kim Wilson’s love for her at-home vegetable garden. In 2009, she took over an abandoned gas station, went to the local Farmer’s Market every morning, started with produce and grew from there. Kim’s continued success has brought Lucy’s Market from those humble roots to what it is today.
For years now Lucy’s Market has become Buckhead’s go-to, farmers market. Carrying locally farmed produce, small batch baked goods and walls of wine, jam and honey, Lucy’s specializes in Southern foods and gifts that make you feel as good as they taste. Lucy’s Market also carries casseroles, soups and other fully cooked meals that will make dinner time a breeze.
Valentines Day Basket
Located in Andrews Square Shopping Center, Lucy’s Market carries everything you need to make your Valentines Day perfect. They are famous for their gift baskets, which come in various shapes and sizes. Lucy’s proudly carries only the finest quality ingredients for their handcrafted baskets from trusted southern and Made-in-America brands. And even better- most ingredients are from local Atlanta vendors.
When building the perfect Valentines Day basket I got the help of Lucy herself! Since its Valentines, flowers are a must! She put together this beautiful arrangement (which can be purchased as well) and put together this lovely Georgia basket. Everything I could possibly need for my picnic is in this basket- sadly I won’t be drinking the champagne, but my husband will definitely appreciate it! And of course, a Valentines basket wouldn’t be complete without some sweets! Lucy picked out some heart shaped English Shortbread Cookies and Savannah Bee Company Honey to enjoy with apples and crackers. Yum!
Whether you are clueless on what to get your sweet heart for Valentines Day this year and need some ideas, or you just need a last minute minute item to complete your gift or romantic dinner- Lucy’s Market is your one stop shop for all things Valentines!
