The following post was sponsored but all opinion, photographs and recipes are my own!
Happy toddler Tuesday friends! It’s been a while since I have done a toddler post so today I wanted to share THREE different ways to incorporate Autumn Glory Apples into your toddlers snacks! All three of these recipes are super easy because I do not believe in complicated snack time. They also all contain a fiber (the apples!) and a protein so it will keep your toddler full for a few hours. These are also great snacks for my fellow pregnant ladies because they are calorically dense and packed with nutrients!
Why Apples?
I have found that most kids will eat some variation of apples so it can be a versatile ingredient for Moms to use. They are also a healthy choice to incorporate into snack time! As mentioned above, apples are a great source of daily fiber. A single medium-sized apple (100 grams) contains about 4 grams of this nutrient, which is 17% of the Daily Value (DV). A portion of their fiber comes from insoluble and soluble fibers called pectin. Soluble fiber is associated with numerous health benefits, partly because it feeds the friendly bacteria in your gut!
Why Autumn Glory Apples?
I can honestly tell you that Autumn Glory Apples are hands down my favorite type of apple. And in case you are wondering, you can still find them at certain grocery stores in June! To me Autumn Glory Apples taste like a natural caramel apple! This makes them the IDEAL apple to throw into a kids recipe because you won’t have to add extra sugar!
I hope you enjoy these 3 different ways to give your toddler Autumn Glory Apples!
