Happy Monday! Today I have teamed up with my friends at Superfresh Growers to bring you quite the delicious recipe, whipped feta with honey and pear dip. It’s the perfect combination of sweet and salty with velvety rich textures. You will definitely want to try this one over the holidays!
How to Make Whipped Feta Dip
Not only is this an incredibly delicious appetizer, it is also quick and simple to make! A minute or less in the food processor and you have a beautiful dish that tastes every bit as delicious as it looks. The sweet, fiber rich Anjou pears add the prefect touch to this festive dip. My whole family could not believe how good it was when I made it last week!
Ingredients
- 1 Superfresh Growers Anjou Pear, chopped with skin on.
- 4 oz crumbled Feta cheese
- 4 oz cream cheese, room temperature
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- ½ teaspoon minced garlic
- ¼ cup honey
- 1 tablespoon chopped pecans
Instructions
- In a food processor, combine feta, cream cheese and olive oil until cheese are well combined and smooth. Add olive oil and garlic, mixing well again.
- Scoop cheese out of the food processor onto a small plate or into a shallow bowl. Use a large spoon to create a well in the center of the cheese. Fill the well with honey. Garnish the sides of the well with pears and pecans.
- Serve immediately with warm pita bread or crackers.
