Hard Rock Cafe Atlanta is kicking off the season of giving by supporting community-based solutions to hunger for children and families worldwide. Hard Rock International, Yoko Ono Lennon and WhyHunger join forces for the eighth year of the IMAGINE THERE’S NO HUNGER campaign, which aims to fight childhood hunger and poverty through the support of sustainable agriculture education and nutritious meals. Inspired by John Lennon and his iconic song “IMAGINE,” the campaign strives to turn his dream of a world with no hunger into a reality. In Atlanta, Hard Rock will support the mission by hosting a fundraising event and offering guests limited-edition IMAGINE THERE’S NO HUNGER merchandise at the Rock Shop.
On Sunday, November 15, Hard Rock Cafe Atlanta will host Strike Against Hunger, a bowling event at Midtown Bowl benefitingAtlanta Community Food Bank (ACFB). From 2 to 5 p.m., for a donation of $7 or seven canned goods, guests will receive two games and shoe rental at no additional charge. Guests can donate in advance online here and redeem complimentary game with printed receipt. The family-friendly afternoon will feature a live DJ, silent auction and full access to Midtown Bowl’s food and beverage menu. The ACFB procures and distributes more than 60 million pounds of food and groceries each year to more than 600 nonprofit partner agencies serving families and individuals in 29 metro Atlanta and north Georgia counties. Pasta Making Class: Thursday, November 19, 6 – 7 p.m. / $15 per person
Learn how easy it is to make your own delicious fresh pasta with Chef David Berry. This is a basic hands-on cooking class, followed by a tasting of the prepared pasta.
Holiday Pasta Making Class: Monday, November 23, 6 – 7 p.m. / $20 per person
Add an Italian recipe to your holiday menu! Learn how to make fresh, creamy pumpkin-filled ravioli with melted butter, Parmigiano-Reggiano and sage sauce. Chef David Berry will guide you during this hands-on cooking class, followed by a tasting of the finished dish.

Ramen Crush ATL is back! Chef Andy Tran and Daniel Crawford of Ramen Crush ATL are heading to Miller Union for their next ramen pop-up series this season. Enjoy a selection of starters and vegetarian and meat ramen featuring house-made broths and fresh market ingredients on the following Sunday evenings: November 15, November 22, December 6, and December 13. Ingredients and flavors will change week to week. Service begins at 5 p.m. and will continue until ramen is sold out.

In addition to the new menu items, Chef Ridgway will be featuring a few out-of-the-ordinary culinary adventures to be known as the “Gypsy Kitchen Experiences.” The three-course meals, which must be ordered one week in advance, are served family-style for six to eight diners and will be available early 2016. Guests will choose from lobster and seafood paella, whole suckling pig or a Moroccan lamb shoulder tagine as their entrée, and the other two courses will consist of seasonal appetizers and salads.

Shake Shack is kicking off colder weather with Shack-made salted caramel hot chocolate topped with fresh, whipped cream, available through March. For those looking for a sip of Christmas spirit, Shake Shack will launch a holiday shake trio on November 16 to January 3, including gingerbread (gingerbread spiced frozen custard, whipped cream, cinnamon cookie crumble), chocolate peppermint (chocolate frozen custard, peppermint, whipped cream, crumbled chocolate covered candy canes) and Christmas cookie (sugar cookie frozen custard, whipped cream, red and green sprinkles).
