Happy Monday friends! Today I wanted to try something a little different on the blog by sharing my weekend pictures with you. I have some exciting posts coming this week- including another fun giveaway- so today I wanted to keep it a little more casual. So here is my weekend look book!

Last Thursday Andrew and I had the privilege of attending Taste of NFL fundraising event held at Davio’s Italian Restaurant. Taste of NFL is an organization that brings together NFL players and celebrity chefs to raise money for the fight against hunger.
“The Hunger Issue: As you read this, millions of people in America are struggling with hunger. In fact, 1 out of 6 people in our country face this serious issue – many of them are children and seniors. For over 23 years, Taste of the NFL has been working to kick hunger. While we’re proud to report that we’ve raised more than $22 million during that time, we’re saddened to report that the need to do more is greater than ever. We hope you’ll support our efforts by becoming a contributor or partner in our mission.” (tasteofnfl.com)
Together with Atlanta Magazine, Atlanta Eats, and Uber- the Taste of NFL event was a success. Andrew and I entered in the silent auction hoping to test out our newly wed luck. To our surprise our ticket was called and we won a cooking class courtesy of Cooks Warehouse. How appropriate right? The night got even better when we met Atlanta Eats host, Steak Shapiro. Atlanta Eats is my favorite local show because it Shapiro does an excellent job keeping the restaurant choices diverse on the show. If you live in Atlanta (or just visiting for a weekend) definitely check Atlanta Eats out!
Friday I went and picked up my favorite King of Pops treat with little Heidi after work. It was a tough choice but I went with one of my favorites- strawberry lemonade. Whats your favorite King of Pops flavor?
Saturday I woke up early and went estate sale shopping! My darling friend Kelly joined me and we found some amazing pieces for my new home with Andrew. We found a beautiful blue drawer set and an antique mirror. I also found a new ceramic bowl to grow more of my veggies in! We celebrated our success by trying out a new restaurant called Tin Roof Kitchen in downtown Alpharetta. This 100% gluten free restaurant was incredibly delicious and affordable. They are currently on Scoutmob so make sure you show them yours to receive 50% off your bill.
Sunday Andrew and I were craving Mexican so decided to try a new place called Cans Taqueria. This modern Mexican Taqueria reminded us of our honeymoon in Cabo because every dish is made from scratch with the freshest ingredients. We ordered tacos that were served on gluten free corn tortillas. It came with their green rice (white rice + cilantro+ poblano pepper) which was unlike anything I have tried before. Delicious!
I hope that your weekend was a wonderful as mine! Tomorrow I will be sharing my wedding invitations with you! I cannot believe I have married for three weeks already!
