Trina Turk Swimsuit // Sun Hat // Turkish Towel // Beach Tote {similar} // Jack Roger Sandals
Happy Monday pretty friends! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. My husband and I spent the whole weekend moving so we are exhausted! I will be sharing more about that later this month! But todays post is very special to me because it was something out of my comfort zone. I’m not going to lie, I was nervous about getting into a swimsuit at 7 months pregnant. I’ve always been teeny tiny so my changing body has definitely been something to get used too. Nevertheless, I have loved everything about my pregnancy and knowing that even though I’m growing, a little baby is growing inside of me. It truly is a precious feeling!
Finding the Perfect Swimsuit
Who says because we are pregnant we have to only wear ugly maternity swim suits?? I did a post a few weeks ago about how difficult it is to find cute, petite maternity clothing {click here if you missed it}. Same thing applies to swimsuits! Fortunately for us little mamma’s, one pieces are totally in again this summer! All you have to do is buy one or two sizes up and the stretch in the swimsuit will work with your belly. This one is by Trina Turk- it comes in black and in this beautiful blue pattern. The black is very sexy and slims out but this blue is so unique and fun! Its non-maternity so even if you aren’t pregnant you can rock it! Its made of thick material so it keeps everything in place and is very flattering. I cannot stand when swimsuits are made of thin material and show all your goodies! No thanks!
A HUGE thanks to my sweet friend Katie from KVC Photography for taking these pictures. As I mentioned before, I was a little nervous and self conscience about getting my pictures taken on the beach pregnant. But Miss Katie made me feel like Queen Bey from the beginning! And the best part about working with Katie is how genuine she is. I know when she said I looked beautiful that she truly meant it. And what pregnant lady doesn’t want to hear that, right?! Katie is based in Atlanta (lucky for me) but was down on 30A the same time I was! We had so much fun shooting together and spent the whole time laughing and enjoying the beautiful beach together. I highly highly recommend reaching out to her for any of your photography needs. Her and my girl Shelby are hands down the best photographers in Atlanta!

Hey girl! You are adorable in this suit! We seem to be very similar in size you may be a tad bit tinier than me 🙂 may I ask what size you purchased? i’m 13 weeks pregnant and was thinking of getting a size 6! I need it for February – march and again in june-july (I am due in july). I’m worried the 6 will be too small! thanks in advance!
