I recently came across your site. I was raised in the country of ALabama with chicken, goats, hogs and Acres of fields we worked by hand every summer,no such thing as summer break for us kids, we was in the fields every day. So i grew up got married had two boys of my own and passed down the tradition they have now given us 3 granddaughters and 2 grandsons. The giirls love helping feed the chickens and goats and gardening, especially picking squash, its the oldest girl’s 9 favorite, she likEs Helping cut up okra for frying also. Cant get my grandson 7 qUite motivated in the field yet, he loves that Tablet too much.
