Happy Friday my friends! I am so excited to share a recap of our first ever Pretty Peach Workshop. For those of you who haven’t heard, my dear friend Shelby from Shelby Rae Photographs and I teamed up to host a blogger + photography workshop. We decided to host a workshop because we both received a lot of e-mails from new bloggers and photographers asking for advice. We thought hosting a workshop would be a great way to educate women on how to blog, photograph and better utilize social media. And thats exactly what we did and had a blast doing it!
We kicked off the workshop with all the ladies getting head shots along with a meet & greet so everyone could mingle and get to know one another! I then jumped into how to better your social media & blogging skills where everyone had the opportunity to ask questions or tell more about their experiences with blogging and social media. Next, Shelby took over and taught photography 101 then lead a hands on photography lesson. Afterword, we wrapped up with a styled dessert table shoot and ended with photographing the beautiful Cynthia from Darling Down South.
Every attendee left with newfound knowledge and an amazing goodie bag {picture below}. Shelby and I are beyond thankful for the success of the workshop. This workshop is something so close to both of our hearts and nothing made us happier than to see how much the attendees enjoyed being there.
