Happy weekend friends! Can you believe we are half way through the month of May? That means summer break is just around the corner! With that being said, teacher end of the year gifts are on our mind. Last week I went on social media to ask teachers for advice on end of the year gifting ideas. I was a little surprised with what the number one gift was- gift cards! I’m more of a “creative gifter” but if gift cards is what makes teachers happy, sign me up! I plan to send Robinson’s teachers a sweet note on his Dixie Designs Stationary plus a few gift cards- Starbucks, Target and Chick-Fil-A. Who wouldn’t love that gift?!
Here are a few more creative gift ideas:
- Manicure + Pedicure Gift Card
- Local Restaurant Gift Cards
- Local Massage Gift Card
- Candles
- Monogrammed towels, blankets or totes
- Swell Blanket with a written note by your child
- Picnic Kit
- Dinner Kit- with homemade pasta
- Wine
- Beach cooler with margarita mix for the summer
- Beach tote with a beach towel and flip flops
- End of the Year album with pictures in class and handmade cards
- Popcorn with a Redbox code
- Homemade soap
- Scripture Cards
- Gourmet Foods
The same teachers also told me to avoid gifting-
- Candy
- Mugs
If you have given these in the past you are clearly not alone! I actually gave one of Robinson’s teachers this over Christmas! Oops! I hope this post is helpful- especially if you’re a first time Mom like me! And to all the teachers who follow Peaches to Pearls- thank you for your selfless love! Your love for our kids will never be forgotten.
