Founded in 1918, the Market offers an exotic array of fresh fruits, vegetables, meats, cheeses, and fish. The Sweet Auburn Curb Market also serves as a new age cafeteria offering various local restaurants to eat from. This is a perfect place to eat with a large group of people because there is something for everyone. Since it’s only a short walk from Georgia State’s campus, I visit the Curb Market quite frequently. Not only can I eat a delicious, diverse lunch, but I can also pick up some local fruits and vegetables. On one of my many visits to the Curb Market, I actually met and had a great conversation with the owner of the Sweet Auburn Bakery. He told me about the history behind the Bakery, which has been around since 2009, and how they make everything from fresh ingredients every day. The price point is perfect for us students, and the treats are worth every penny. I had the pleasure of trying their chocolate chip pecan cookie and homemade poundcake. WOW! My friends, I am not exaggerating when I tell you, it blew my mind! I strongly recommend stopping by and grabbing a cookie for dessert while you are at the market.

I have also eaten at Le Metro Creperie, Rawesome Juicery, and Grindhouse Killer Burgers. All three are phenomenal! There is usually a Scoutmon discount available at these restaurants- so make sure you check when you visit the Market. Also, a lot of these restaurants offer student discounts so make sure you ask.
