Summer Stripes

Happy Wednesday my friends! Today I am off on another adventure! But where are am I going now? I’ll announce where I am going later today on the my Instagram. If you guess correctly where I am going I will send you a special post card from there. Speaking of traveling, todays blog post is from my styled shoot in South Walton, Florida. Fashion expert and professional stylist, Rachel from The Southern Atelier, was sweet enough to style this shoot. She has been featured in various magazines and has some exciting projects coming up this year. She brought together some of South Walton’s most prominent vendors and made this shoot possible.

Today’s post is all about being comfortable during the summer. I’m wearing this little striped romper {linked similar ones below} and a fun fedora. This beautiful scarf comes from Beach Folly in Water Color, Florida. This scarf was fun to wear because you can wear it casually or dress it up with the right outfit.

Rachel chose to style this romper with pearls from Arriaga Originals,  red statement necklace from Haute Handcrafted Accessories , Sensi Studio beach bag and a beach hat from Haute Handcrafted Accessories as well. Rachel did an amazing job making this outfit feel comfortable and fabulous to wear. I also felt this great thanks to the amazing Morgan King who did my make-up. Morgan is a local make-up artist that is not only incredibly talented, but also one of the most genuinely sweet women I have ever worked with. If you are looking for the perfect wedding makeup artist- Morgan is your girl.

Since we are on the topic of incredibly talented, precious women- how beautiful are these pictures taken by Sarah Lyn? If you remember from my prior post on Sarah, I’m quit obsessed with her work.  Sarah Lyn has a grace about her that makes you feel as if you were spending time with an old friend.  I cannot recommend her enough to any brides or families looking for a beach photographer in South Walton.
