Happy Friday friends! Today I wanted to do my favorite type of post- a round up post! I love putting these posts together because I get to share my honest opinion on what I’m currently loving. Todays post is my summer beauty edition! Some of these products where gifted (will be disclosed with a “c/o” next to it) but this post is NOT sponsored one. I hope you like it!
Every summer I buy a couple of fun lipsticks to go with my colorful attire. My absolute favorite from this summer has been Clove + Hallow’s Ballerina Slippers. It’s creamy, stays on all day and doesn’t smell (I can’t stand lipsticks that have a smell to them). But on top of it being a great quality lipstick, Clove + Hallow is also vegan and cruelty free.
FACTS: Formulated with a combination of natural and organic jojoba, castor and sunflower oils, our PETA-certified cruelty free and vegan soothing Lip Crème delivers bold color and nourishing hydration in nine satiny shades.
Amika Dry Shampoo + Texture Spray (c/o)
My friends over at Amika sent me a few goodies a few weeks ago to try out. When I opened the box I immediately fell in love with the design on all their products. So colorful and fun! I loved all the products they sent but my absolute favorite were the Dry Shampoo and the Texture Spray. Both are excellent for my messy Mom hair!
FACTS: Their products contain the elusive Sea Buckthorn Berry (Obliphica) – a super fruit and one of the most enriched plant sources in the world and are vegetarian-friendly, cruelty-free, and free from sulfated, MIT, MCI, phthalates, and artificial colors.
Elite Mirror Artist Brush Collection (c/o)
These high quality brushes are the softest I have ever used. They are made exclusively with CosmeFibre, a revolutionary engineered fibre made for applying cosmetic and makeup products. Aside from the softness, I love how easy they are to use. I’m not a makeup expert so any brush that will help my routine go faster and easier is awesome!
L’Occitane Anti-Aging Face Oil
I have been using this product for a few years now and will never grow tired of it. I have very dry skin so this works wonders on me. Some serums feel too oily but this one is light and leaves my face feeling refreshed. I use it every night before bed.
One thing I never try to take for granted is my hair. Since I color it {surprise I’m not a natural blonde!!} I try to always keep it hydrated and conditioned. I LOVE this vitamin mist by Merkai! I also use their Hot Oil Shine– smells like soft roses! It’s also created by a local girl boss! I highly recommend her products!
FACTS: A revolutionary leave-in conditioner that creates shine without weight. Strengthens, smooths and detangles. Horsetail Extract adds shine, Aloe Extract soothes the scalp, and Green Tea Extract protects. Great with flat irons. Safe for colored, straightened and chemically-treated hair. Strengthens & Protects. No Parabens or Sodium Chloride. Color & Straightener Safe. UV & Thermal Protectant. Vegan.
I’m not one to change mascaras (always go with Covergirl’s Last Blast) because I think the designer ones are overpriced but this mascara is awesome! You “pump” it and it loads up lots of mascara for volume. And it’s even better if you use it with its primer. One trick I learned while shopping at Sephora is start at the base of your eyelash and wiggle forward.
Ama.la (c/o)
Since I work at a hospital I am constantly washing my hands when seeing patients. Naturally my hands get really dry after a full day of working. I love how moisturized my hands feel after using Ama.la hand cream. I also like that it does not have a smell. Like my lipsticks, I hate hand creams that smell.
FACTS: Deeply moisturize and protect dry, chapped hands with this rich, non-greasy treatment. Cocoa Bean, Inca Inchi Seed and Licorice Root help ease the look of fine lines and discoloration for more youthfully smooth skin.
