Happy Tuesday my friends! Last week I went on my annual Sister-Sister trip with my little sister, Julie Anne. We had such a wonderful time exploring the beautiful city of San Diego. One of the fun activities we did was go whale watching on a sail boat. Since I’m originally from Florida, I’ve been boating various times but I’ve actually never been sailing. Usually I would wear my favorite swimsuit with a fun cover up but the Pacific Ocean is a whole lot colder than the Gulf of Mexico. So what to wear when sailing in San Diego?
Since it was going to be windy and a little chilly, I decided to go with white pants and a long sleeve shirt. I wanted to still look ready for spring so I wore my mint GAP Boyfriend shirt and my J.Crew mint scarf. To protect my face from the sun I wore a cute little sunhat that came with straps to keep it from flying away. And of course, I took my HM Willow bracelets sailing with me!
My favorite piece from this outfit is my Charles River white Latitude Jacket to keep me dry and warm. What I love most about this jacket is its incredibly lightweight and breathable. It doesn’t make you feel heavy or overly layered. The water resistant mesh like texture fabric will keep you dry during sailing.
Want to win your very own jacket? I’ve teamed up with Charles River to give one lucky lady a latitude jacket in any color! Stop by my Instagram account tonight at 8pm (EST) to enter the giveaway!
Xoxo,
