Hi friends! Last week I had the honor of dining at Mission + Market! This gem is located in the heart of Buckhead next to the Three Alliance Center. When you walk inside you instantly notice the bright green mossed columns contrasting with the modern day complementary decor. Along the right side of the venue are huge windows that let in the best sunlight to capture the perfect foodie shot!
Mission+ Market serves a delectable upscale classic American style menu and I had to resist myself from ordering everything off the menu! We decided to start our experience by ordering a few cocktails recommended by our lovely waiter. The “Do the Lychee” was the perfect spring time drink- light, fruity and refreshing. We also ordered the “Purple Rain” which is made with a butterfly pea blossom cocktail infused with gin. Not only were the drinks superb, but they were also quite fun to photograph.
Our first dishes consisted of the Grilled Spanish Octopus, and the savory Chilled Rice Noodles, both were fresh and packed with flavor. I was a huge fan of the Grilled Octopus, paired with a Hazelnut Romesco, and lightly dressed Shaved Vegetables. It was the perfect consistency and with the salad, provided an exquisite combination of flavors. You won’t find any better here in Atlanta in my opinion!
After enjoying some time taking some beautiful photos we ordered our main dishes- the Roasted Springer Mountain Chicken and the Braised Brisket Sandwich. Both were equally delectable. The Roasted Chicken was paired with bacon jam, pickled chanterelles, and roasted fall squash. YUM! The Braised Brisket Sandwich came with rocket ( which I learned that day is arugula) pecorino cheese and some mouth watering french fries. We devoured it all.
A foodie tip- Mission + Market becomes quite busy during lunch time! Since the restaurant is located inside a corporate building, many work force members conveniently go there for lunch! Try to get there a little early to avoid the lunch time crown and to get all the photos you want!
Over all, our meals and drinks were delightfully pleasing! Not a single dish disappointed at Mission + Market. Let me know what you think by leaving a comment below. Bon appétit!
