Happy Wednesday friends! I hope you are having a wonderful week. I’ve been busy working on a few pregnancy blog post to share with you later this month. I get a lot of questions about what I eat and where I buy my clothes so I figured- why not share them as blog post? If you ever have any request please feel free to email me! But today we aren’t talking about pregnancy, we are talking about a delicious new restaurant! I would like to introduce you to the newest restaurant to join the Peaches to Pearls foodie family- Jefe’s Tacos and Tequila.
About Jefe’s Tacos and Tequila
Located in Brookhaven, this new restaurant is quickly becoming a neighborhood favorite. My husband and I had the pleasure of trying out Jefe’s Tacos and Tequila for the first time last weekend. When we arrived the friendly manager David greeted us and sat us in a comfy booth. Our waiter then came over and told us about their specials. Since we went on a Saturday he told us that they offer a brunch menu and $14.99 bottomless mimosas. I know where we are going after baby gets here!
We ordered guacamole and queso. Both were very fresh and tasty! We then ordered a few of their tacos and their steak fajitas. Now we ordered five tacos thinking they were small like the ones you get at most taco places. But much to our surprise, these tacos were regular size and loaded with delicious toppings! Now that’s how tacos should be served! Our absolute favorite was the fried avocado taco. They use rice flour on the avocado which makes it crunchier than other avocado tacos we’ve tried. It also comes with a special sauce that gives it tons of flavor. No matter what you order, we highly recommend adding this taco to your list.
The fajitas were also very impressive- cooked to perfection and full of flavor. They aren’t on the menu just yet but you can definitely go ahead and order them! They are pretty big so I recommend sharing with your date.
Overall we had a wonderful experience at Jefe’s Tacos and Tequila. All the tacos were under $4 and you only need to order two to be full. Such an incredible deal, right? Also, Jefe’s Taco and Tequila prides themselves in being a great gluten free restaurant so you can eat with ease if you have a gluten allergy.
Let me know what you get when you visit!
