Happy Monday friends! Today kicks off my BIRTHDAY week! Anyone else use a full week to celebrate their birthday? Ha! Well what better way to celebrate than with a restaurant review! Today I want to share our experience at the delicious French bistro, F&B Atlanta.
A Local Gem: F&B Atlanta
F&B Atlanta is Buckhead’s locally owned French destination, opened in July 2012, serving signature French cuisine in a warm atmosphere. This family run business not only offers fantastic French fare, but also a unique beverage program consisting of craft cocktails, beer and hand-selected wines.
Our Experience
My husband and I had big plans to go grab a romantic lunch at F&B but our little man sadly came down with an ear infection and had to tag along. But that did not ruin our experience one bit- quite the opposite- the staff at F&B was extremely welcoming to our 2 year old! He enjoyed a cup of milk while we got cocktails! I went with their refreshing St. Germain Cocktail while my husband got a beer. The cocktail was perfect for a hot summer day in Atlanta!
We then got some bread (comes out warm with butter!) and a few different dishes. We tried the-
- Fromage & Charcuterie- we let the Chef pick out the cheese and meats!
- Caesar Salad- fresh and a great way to kick off lunch
- Creamy Onion Soup- probably one of the best I have ever tried!
- Tuna Carpaccio- capers, crispy shallots, lemon and chives
- Goat Cheese Tart- caramelized onions, sun-dried tomato & truffle vin- this was by far the best dish of the day. It was an explosion of flavors all on a delicate, flakey crust!
- F&B Burger- juicy, tender burger that was absolutely delicious
Everything was fantastic at F&B and I can honestly say it’s one of the best French restaurants in the states. From the warm, cheerful staff, to the incredibly delicious dishes, F&B needs to be on your list of restaurants to try in Atlanta!
