Robinson’s Outfit: Smocked South Bubble
Happy Wednesday friends! Today I want to continue on my favorite subject- meal time! One thing I quickly learned after becoming a pediatric dietitian is that food sensitivities and allergens are becoming more and more prominent. Because of this it can often be difficult for children with strict dietary restrictions to find foods they can enjoy with their peers. I am constantly looking for new food options to recommend to my patients that will meet their needs without compromising taste. That is why I am so excited to share with you Remedy Bakeshop!
About the Brand: Remedy Bakeshop
Remedy Bakeshop cookies were inspired by Camp Southern Ground- a nine-week summer camp started by multiplatinum GRAMMY Award-winning artist, Zac Brown, of Zac Brown Band for children ages 7-17, from all socioeconomic backgrounds, races and religions, with programs that challenge, educate, and inspire. The camp was born out of the belief that all kids should be treated equal—and that a culture of inclusiveness doesn’t stop in the dining room. Since so many campers require special attention to what they’re eating, the menu at Camp Southern Ground adapted to become appropriate for all. And Remedy Bakeshop’s food furthers that mission for healthier bodies and minds.
As you can see by my photos, my little man absolutely loved Remedy Bakeshop cookies! I was impressed with their taste as well and how they are made with organic, preservative-free ingredients. The cookies are 100% gluten free, allergen-friendly, and vegan. Wait…what exactly does allergen-friendly mean? Glad you asked! It means that these cookies are made without dairy, eggs, peanuts, tree nuts, soy, wheat, shellfish or fish.
Remedy Bakeshop offers a trio of new cookie options including chocolate chunk, snickerdoodle and oatmeal cranberry. No need to bake these cookies- they come ready to eat in individual wrappers. You can find these on Amazon so you can get free 2-day shipping if you are a Prime member. Also, make sure to use promo code PEACHYUM at checkout to receive 20% off your order until next Tuesday, July 24!
I hope you enjoy them as much as we did! Happy eating friends!
