Happy Tuesday my friends! We are in full holiday swing here at Peaches to Pearls. Today I want to share with you a recap from the stunning and delicious Christmas party hosted by Allison from Peachfully Chic. She hosted her lovely holiday soiree at Dantanna’s in Buckhead.
As you can see from the pictures above, the food spread was phenomenal. Dantanna’s is Atlanta’s only upscale sports restaurant that exudes the sophistication of a five-star restaurant and the entertainment of having a private box at your favorite game. Dantanna’s combines culinary excellence with the entertainment value of sports to create the ultimate restaurant experience.
Our evening began with the appetizer sampler plate which included-
- Cajun Chicken Egg Roll- creole mustard sauce
- Sesame Steak Skewers- chili, noodles, soy-ginger aioli
- Charred Okra- lemon, parmesan
The sesame steak skewers were my favorite from the first course. The meat was cooked to perfection and the sesame chili sauce gave it a sweet touch. Our next course was the salad dishes. This included-
- Crab and Berry Salad which consisted of organic grown greens, seasonal berries, tropical fruit tomatoes, and a raspberry vinaigrette to tie the flavor all in.
- Kale Salad which came with chopped tomatoes, carrots, granny smith apples, chopped pecans, blue cheese and topped with a herb vinaigrette.
- Spinach Salad which consisted of baby spinach leaves, tomatoes, red onion, mandarin oranges, caramelized onions, blue cheese, all topped with a champagne-lime dressing.
- Organic Quinoa Salad which came with quinoa, edamame, red peppers, dry cherries, goat cheese, shallots, spring mix and topped with a balsamic dressing.
All where excellent but my favorite was the quinoa salad. I think it was such a delicious twist on a salad and tasted fresh and packed with flavor. I strongly recommend trying it!
Last and not least was the main entrees {I’m not kidding when I tell you that we were treated like Queens} which was-
- Creekstone Farms Porterhouse- house signature rub, char-grilled, herb compound butter
- Maine Lobster Tail Medallions- drawn butter, citrus-caper cocktail sauce
- Wasabi Tuna- panko crusted ahi, pan seared, shiitake-soy glaze, lump crab
The beautiful desserts were provided by The Sweet Trend. The display Lisa from the Sweet Trend designed for the party was beautiful! Flowers for the evening were provided by Gold & Bloom Floral which added an elegant touch to our perfect dinner.
