Bonjour my friends! Today I want to tell you about my favorite body product brand- L’Occitane. If you’re like me, you’ve been a fan of this brand for many years now. So you can imagine how excited I was when I heard they were coming to Atlanta. Located in the new shops of Buckhead, this flagship store is one out of three in the USA. Right when you walk in you are taken back by the beauty of this magnificent store. Lisa, who is a manager at L’Occitane, greeted me with a warm smile and gave me a private tour of the new store. I learned all about the process behind making these high quality body products and how they are selected. One of Lisa’s favorites is their shea butter line, which is made in Africa. In the early 1980s, on a trip to Burkina Faso, Oliver Baussan (founder) discovered the wonderful properties of shea butter. L’Occitane has built a strong relationship of co-development and fair trade with local communities for 30 years. By employing local women and paying far above their minimum wage, over 9,700 women have benefited from L’Occitanes involvement with the community.
Giving back to the world is just one of the many reasons L’Occitane is such a prestigious company. For 4 years in a row now L’Occitane’s Divine Cream has been voted number one by The Beauty Bible for best anti-aging face creams. I personally use this oil and face cream and I can tell you that it is number one for a reason. This face cream keeps you moisturized all day but doesn’t make you feel oily. Its great too because it’s a day and night cream in one. The cream is made from an immortelle flower, which is in the sunflower family. This beautiful flower never wilts away but instead stays perfect forever. It also contains essential fatty acids and nourishing vitamin E.
L’Occitane doesn’t just make high quality lotions- they also have hair products, shower gels, shaving lotion, men products, baby products and exclusive perfumes. My personal favorite is their new Peach Scented shower gel. I like to think they made it just for my blog! 🙂

Ah this store is so gorgeous! I saw it when we ate at GK and knew I had to be back when it was sunny out! I need a new face cream, I’ll definitely have to look into this place for my next anti wrinkle cream!
