As I have told you before, one of the many reasons I love Atlanta is the cultural diversity it has to offer. This past weekend I was able to experience more of this by eating at a Korean BBQ restaurant. I have been to one before in San Francisco and that’s what made me want to find one here in Atlanta. Over in Duluth there are quite a lot of Korean restaurants. While doing research I found that a place called Iron Age had the best reviews and best prices. All you can eat for $20? Yes please!
I would strongly suggest making reservations. You can make reservations by calling the restaurant directly at (678) 584-9098. The restaurant has become so popular that you will wait at least an hour if you do not. When you get there you will see that most people there are Korean. That’s how you know you’re at an authentically delicious restaurant. The waiters are all very nice and helpful so don’t be afraid to ask questions. You sit down at a table with a burner in the middle but the waiters come around to do most the cooking. The menu is a few pages long but definitely give the all you can eat options a try. There are two different options with the all you can eat menu. Option A gives you all the meat options including various flavors of pork, beef, and chicken. Option B is only pork and beef. I encourage paying the extra $3 and getting option A.
You will get a vast array of sides to eat along with your meat. Personally, I love the rice paper to make little Korean meat tacos! Korean BBQ is a fun place to take friends when they are in town because its a very different dining experience. Heads up, you will stink of food when you leave so don’t wear anything that is dry clean only! And you will have to wash your hair afterwards too. But it will all be worth it when you try the amazing meat they have to offer.

My cousin enjoying the pork belly that looks like giant bacon!
My last bit of advice is to go with a very empty stomach. I had a small lunch the day of going to eat Korean BBQ in order to have plenty of room for lots of food.
Hope you enjoyed learning about a new restaurant we tried in Atlanta. Please let me know if you make it over to Duluth to try some Korean BBQ!
