A special thanks to my friends at Silver Spring Foods for teaming up with me for this delicious post. All thoughts, opinions, recipes and photos are my own.
Happy Friday friends! Who is getting excited for the holidays? I am!! I absolute love how this time of year brings family and friends together over delicious food. One of our family traditions is making post Thanksgiving sandwiches with left over turkey, ham and other sides. Today I am teaming up with my friends at Silver Spring Foods to share one of our favorite family recipes with you!
Family Tradition
As I mentioned before, one of the things we look forward to this time of year is post holiday sandwiches. I know this might sound silly but there is something very special about a sandwich loaded with Thanksgiving left overs. It’s almost like you’re making the holiday last a little longer!
Our go-to sandwich is Hawaiian rolls filled with turkey, ham, cheese and horseradish cranberry cream cheese. It’s a great and creative way to use the leftover cranberry sauce and it adds the perfect kick to each bite.
Silver Springs: Horseradish
For this recipe you have various options when it comes to creating the perfect sauce. You can either use Silver Spring Foods Horseradish Sauce, Silver Spring Foods Applewood Smoked Horseradish Sauce or Silver Spring Foods Prepared Horseradish and mix it with your leftover cranberry sauce. Another option is you can use Silver Spring Foods Cranberry Horseradish. This is a perfect option if you ran out of cranberries or you want to save time. All four options are excellent and will mix well with cream cheese. For my recipe I went with the Cranberry Horseradish (pictured above).
If you are looking for another way to use your Silver Spring Foods Horseradish Sauce, check out my Deviled Eggs recipe from this summer. You could easily serve these as an appetizer for any holiday part this year! As you can see I am a huge fan of Silver Spring Foods and like to incorporate them into my seasonal recipe. Their products are made with the highest quality ingredients and add the perfect zest to all my recipes. I hope you enjoy this family recipe as much as we do!
