Is anyone else happy it’s finally Friday?! I sure am! I had my first exam for the semester yesterday and celebrated by going to the new cupcake shop here in Atlanta, Sprinkles Cupcakes. And what a treat it was!
This sweet shop was founded by one of the judges from the popular show Cupcake Wars, Candace Nelson. It was the first ever cupcake bakery! It has since become very popular and is often visited by celebrities like Oprah, Ryan Seacrest, and Barbra Streisand. They offer various flavors and even offer vegan and sugar free cupcakes. And lucky for us in Atlanta, Sprinkles just opened at Lenox Mall! My friend and I were super excited to finally try these famous cupcakes.
When you first walk in you are greeted by a beautiful array of freshly baked cupcakes. If you keep walking past the cupcake counter you find the ice cream counter. I decided to go with a ice cream sandwich. It consisted of two red velvet cupcake tops with vanilla bean ice cream in the middle. It was phenomenal! You are also able to get two different flavors of cupcake since they use two tops so definitely take advantage of that and mix up the flavors!
They also have a cupcake ATM machine outside! You just choose a flavor and swipe your card. What a genius idea for those late night munchies!
And of course you can’t forget about your furry friends! Sprinkles sells small puppy cupcakes. They are made with dog safe ingredients that your little furry child will enjoy. Mine sure did!
