Happy Tuesday my friends! Today I am incredibly excited to tell you about superfood called Chuice. After looking at my picture you are either thinking (1) Wow that juice looks so healthy and delicious or (2) What in the world is that? Not to worry- when I first saw Chuice my first thought was “what in the world is that?” BUT do not judge a book by its cover- one sip of Chuice and I became a believer.
So what exactly is Chuice?
Chuice is a delicious blend of over 45 fruits, vegetables, herbs, nuts and seeds. This Superfood is one of a kind: more of a meal than a drink, each ingredient comes from nature and was chosen for nutritional benefit.
Chuice is comprehensively nutritious, containing all the elements of a healthy diet: complex carbohydrates, essential fatty acids, protein, minerals and fiber. It is also the world’s first chewable, drinkable juice (Chew + Juice). Chewing is important because it is the first critical step to igniting our body’s natural digestive system–by activating enzymes in the mouth that start to break down complex carbohydrates (the good kind of carbohydrates found in fruits and vegetables). Additionally, chewing tells your body that you are eating, with the satisfaction that you are indeed eating, not just drinking.
Chuice is all natural, fresh, unprocessed and unpasteurized. It comes in two flavors: The Forest (green) and River of Life (red).

I had the pleasure of meeting up with Chuice CEO Dr. Sujit Sharma to discuss his passion for helping others through nutrition. Dr. Sharma told me more about the Chuice mission:
“The dietary misadventures of the past several decades are a problem of culture: it is socially acceptable to consume food in a manner that often works against us. By offering a product that is tasty, convenient, and truly good for you, we hope to stimulate a conversation regarding how to best nourish ourselves and our future.”
Just to give you a small example, while I was meeting with Dr.Sharma I spoke with one of the Chuice cooks and she told me how Chuice has completely changed her life. She told me how she was suffering from uncontrolled diabetes, constipation, and obesity before she started working for Chuice. After working for the company for a few months, she was educated on the importance of proper nutrition. She not only learned how to cook healthier, but how to live a more nutritious lifestyle. Since then she has lost weight, has complete control of her diabetes, and no longer suffers from constipation. She was paying hundreds of dollars on continuous doctor visits and medication. Thanks to her new lifestyle, she is able to visit the doctor less and no longer needs medication. Her story was incredibly inspirational and reminded me to never underestimate the power of nutrition eduction.
As of right now Chuice is only available at Georgia and Nashville Whole Foods. But we can help change that! Chuice launched their kick starter campaign last month and needs you to pledge to help Chuice grow. The goal of this project is to locally source ingredients for Chuice, and support sustainable agriculture in our Georgia community. Click here to see how you can help today!
