Hello again! I am back from Charleston and eager to share all about my amazing trip. I am going to divide the trip into three different posts: travel, restaurants, and cooking class This post will be on the fun activities we did in Charleston. Tomorrow I will go into detail about the amazing food we ate and give you personal recommendations for your next visit to Charleston . And lastly I will tell you all about our cooking class at Charleston Cooks. I hope that you will enjoy all three of them! So lets get started!
Later on that afternoon we ventured over to Seeking Indigo for a side-by-side thermal massage. The massage is performed by a special Japanese infrared crystal Migun bed. I strongly recommend getting one of these massages while you are traveling. Seeking Indigo offered various detox treatments, massage therapies, and even yoga classes. Their friendly staff is eager to share all the benefits of their products and services. Feeling rejuvenated from our delightful massages, Haley and I continued exploring the city. We walked along Kings Street which had a plethora of boutiques, restaurants, and commercial shopping.Charleston is the quintessential Southern city with its rich history and new age potential. From its old Southern homes to its new restaurants, Charleston truly has something to offer for all age groups.
Budgeting tips: Charleston is definitely a city that a budget can be used. With the abundant number of restaurants in Charleston, there is something for all budgets. Take advantage of the free trolley to ride around downtown. The Farmers Market on Saturday offered cheap snacks and drinks. Also check out www.groupon.com for Charleston deals.
