Channeling My Inner Blair Waldorf

When people ask me who my fashion icons are I immediately respond- Jackie Kennedy, Audrey Hepburn and Blair Waldorf. For those of you who do not know who Ms. Waldorf is- she’s technically not a real person but her character in the show Gossip Girl is just fabulous. Everything she wears is the epitome of class. Lets just say, if a magic genie gave me 3 wishes one of them would be to own everything in Blair Waldorf’s closet.

Unfortunately I can’t exactly afford to dress like Blair but I can definitely try. Today’s look is completely inspired by her preppy, classic taste in clothes. This beautiful skirt is from Jolie Boheme Boutique and I’m obsessed with it. It has a built in wiring which gives it structure. I can’t stand when my skirts get wrinkled whenever I sit down and lose their shape. This skirt will stay flowy and beautiful no matter what. And the color is perfect for summer time! I paired my skirt with an old J.Crew ruffle tank I own, nude wedges, HM Willow bangles and of course a pretty headband- no Blair look would be complete without a headband! This beautiful headband is from See Blair Boutique {ironically enough}. Its very high quality and sits comfortably on my head. Sometimes headbands give me headaches but since this one is so light to wear, it doesn’t cause my head to hurt.
