Happy Friday pretty friends! I don’t know about you but I am loving this warmer weather we’ve been getting! Spring is just around corner which means it’s festival time in Atlanta!! And just in time for the warm weather is next weekends Brookhaven Cherry Blossom Festival! This family festival is actually the first major event of the year for the metropolitan Atlanta festival season and you won’t want to miss out! Art-lovers, car enthusiasts, and foodies – there’s something for the whole family!
Brookhaven Cherry Blossom Festival Details
The 2018 Brookhaven Cherry Blossom Festival, taking place March 24 and 25. This year will be bigger and better than every before! There will be more arts and crafts, nationally known performers and lots of delicious food options! Also, there will be puppies in costumes!
For all my fitness loving friends- there is even a 5K Run/1K Walk on Sunday, March 25! The 5K is both a Peachtree Road Race qualifier and a fundraiser for Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Strollers and walkers are welcome!
For all my fellow mamas- make sure you bring your littles ones to the festival to enjoy some Spring fun! There is a Kids Zone full of fun activities! Have a fur baby? Bring them too! The Pet Parade features adorable pups donning costumes.
For all my music lovers- the City of Brookhaven has announced an all-star music lineup, featuring concert headliner and country music star Craig Morgan. Other acts include Keith Anderson, Transviolet and Hannah Wicklund & The Steppin Stones.
For all my fellow arts and craft fans- the Brookhaven Cherry Blossom Festival is going to have an incredible new artist market featuring 100+ booths along the picturesque street that runs through Blackburn Park! Car-enthusiasts can enjoy the car show, featuring classic automobile.
And of course, to my fellow foodies- visit the Food Court to enjoy festival favorites like cotton candy and corn dogs, as well as refreshing beverages.
The best part about this festival is admission is FREE! Don’t miss out on a great weekend activity for the whole family! The Brookhaven Cherry Blossom festival is open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, March 24, and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Sunday, March 25. The event takes place at Blackburn Park, 3493 Ashford Dunwoody Road.
