A special thanks to BJ’s Wholesale Club for sponsoring this post. All thoughts, opinions and photography are my own.
Happy Friday pretty friends! I hope you are having a wonderful week! If you follow me on Instagram you’ve seen that my family and I traveled to Charleston last week! Since we travel a good bit with a baby, I have quickly learned what the true necessities are. We are always prepared thanks to our membership at BJ’s Wholesale Club! I picked up Robinson’s favorite organic foods and more diapers + wipes last week before we hit the road. You will never believe the price I paid for his essentials! Keep reading!
BJ’s Wholesale Club: Traveling with Baby
Let’s be honest, traveling with a baby or toddler is not an easy task. That’s why it’s absolutely essential that you are prepared before hitting the road. One of the most helpful pieces of advice I can give you is bring tons of snacks. I say this for various reasons. First, it will keep your baby entertained. I like bringing easy to clean up and easy to pack snacks like Cheerios or Happy Tot Superfood Puffs in my carry on to help keep Robinson entertained. The puffs are also a great option for any child because they are a healthy replacement for other snack foods. Secondly, bringing snacks will help out with lack of appetite during traveling. It’s very common for babies to lose their appetite during traveling because of distractions, shifting routines, or not many good options on menus. I always buy baby purees like the new Wesley Farms Puree Pouches {pictured below}. They are organic baby food and come in various flavors like banana and butternut squash. I like packing these wholesome pouches because they are easy to pack and will keep Robinson full while we travel.
Another option is Happy Tot Fiber & Protein box (10 count for $9.99). All Happy Tot products are organic, Non-GMO and are flavored with healthy fruits and vegetables!
Another tip I can give you is bring lots of diapers and wipes! Such an obvious one but sadly it’s probably the thing I forget the most when traveling. For the past couple of trips {Washington D.C, St. Thomas and Charleston), I have been really good about running to BJ’s to pick up a giant box of Berkley Jensen diapers and wipes for Robinson. A box of 138 diapers is only $25! Such a great deal!
Lastly, if your child is old enough, bring along a fun interactive toy. This is especially helpful if you are flying somewhere with a busy toddler. I found this neat LeapFrog Learning Letters Alphabet Bag for only $19 at BJ’s last week. It worked like a charm during our trip to Charleston!
I hope that this post helps make your travels a little smoother! As you can see BJ’s Wholesale Club carries everything you need to make your trip successful. I can honestly tell you that my membership to BJ’s has been one of the BEST gifts I have been given in the past year. I genuinely enjoy my trips to their various locations in Atlanta.
