Happy Tuesday pretty friends! Today I want to change it up a bit and talk about beauty products. I have extremely dry skin and during the cold weather months, it only gets worse. I’ve tried all kinds of fancy creams and make-up and have finally figured out what works best for my dry skin. Here are a few of the products I currently can’t live without-
Coconut Oil
When it comes to keeping my skin hydrated, the absolute best thing I can use is coconut oil. I currently use Cocovít and love how it feels on my skin. It has a strong, tropical smell but it goes away quickly after applying. Ever since I started using it I have noticed a huge difference in my skin. I use it at night and in the morning before applying makeup.
Vapour Organic Foundation
Introducing the most amazing foundation for dry skin, Vapour Organic Beauty Atmosphere Soft Focus Foundation. When it came to foundation I had a really hard time finding something that didn’t make my skin flakey. It seemed like most of it would cake-on around my eyebrows, which is my driest point. I found this foundation at Fig and Flower here in Atlanta and absolutely obsessed. It leaves my skin looking dewy and well moisturized. I high recommend it for anyone with extra dry skin.
The Soft Focus liquid formula is designed to balance normal, sensitive and combination skin types, while instantly providing a naturally soft, satin finish. This breakthrough formula includes brightening Camellia and Vapour’s proprietary Herbal Enlightenment Complex, which includes an infusion of Frankincense, Tulsi and Lotus to help soothe, calm and protect.
Glossier Primer
As I mentioned before, after using my coconut oil I use moisturizing primer before applying my makeup. I was recently introduced to Glossier’s Priming Moisturizer and I love it. It leaves my skin moisturized but without being super thick. The anti-redness complex soothes and evens skin tone, leaving a clean, dewy, balanced finish. This comforting cream allows you to layer and build up to the perfect amount of moisture depending on climate, season, or how your skin’s feeling on any given day.
Indie Lee Lotion Tache
This talc-free drying lotion treats acne and blemishes, reducing redness, irritation, and inflammation. It’s ideal as an overnight spot treatment. I use this whenever I have a stubborn blemish. It is made with all natural ingredients so its very gentle on your skin yet tough on those blemishes. This is another fabulous product I picked up at Fig and Flower!
Hope this dry skin round up helps you out!
