Beach Week: The Perfect Cover-Up

Happy beach week friends! I am extremely excited about todays post because it was made possible by some amazing ladies. During my spring break, I participated in a styled shoot down in South Walton Beach, Florida. Fashion expert and professional stylist, Rachel from The Southern Atelier, was sweet enough to style this shoot. She has been featured in various magazines and has some exciting projects coming up this year. She brought together some of South Walton’s most prominent vendors and made this shoot possible.

Today’s post is all about one of my beach essentials- the perfect cover up. This gorgeous cover up comes from Beach Folly in Water Color, Florida. Its intricate details make this cover up very feminine and elegant. I thought this cover up in particular is perfect because you can wear on the beach all day, then throw on some wedges and wear it to dinner.

Rachel chose to style this cover up with beautiful pearls from Arriaga Originals and a beach hat from ISHI? boutique. I have never felt so fabulous in my life! Rachel turned this outfit into the most regal, glamorous look. I also felt this great thanks to the amazing Morgan King who did my make-up. Morgan is a local make-up artist that is not only incredibly talented, but also one of the most genuinely sweet women I have ever worked with. If you are looking for the perfect wedding makeup artist- Morgan is your girl.

Since we are on the topic of incredibly talented, precious women- how beautiful are these pictures taken by Sarah Lyn? Ok confession time- Im kinda, sorta obsessed with this young lady. When Rachel told me that Sarah Lyn was working with us on the style shoot I immediately did a happy dance around my living room because I’m huge fan of her work. And can you see why? Sarah Lyn has a grace about her that makes you feel as if you were spending time with an old friend. I have never felt so comfortable with a photographer as I did with Sarah. I cannot recommend her enough to any brides or families looking for a beach photographer in South Walton.
