I’m sure by now you can easily figure out that one of my favorite hobbies is attending local farmer’s markets. But I mean can you blame a girl? I love waking up early on Saturday’s when most of the city is still sleeping and exploring a new market. Its quite thrilling because you never know what kind of vendors you will find.
.
This past Saturday I went back to my local farmer’s market in downtown Alpharetta. I took Henry and Heidi with me so they could enjoy the cool, sunny Saturday with me. First I went on the hunt for fresh squeezed lemonade. My favorite stand was there where you can get a quart sized mason jar filled with lemonade for only $5. Next I meandered through the market looking for some fresh produce. I came across various stands and decided to go with a bundle of sweet vidalia onion’s from Will’s Farm Fresh Produce.
And of course I had to find something for my furry babies at the Farmer’s Market. Lucky for me I stumbled upon Pawl Natural Company. Kelly, the owner, was very friendly and informed me of all their natural products. All their products are made in the USA, are chemical, filler, and preservative free.
I went with the all natural Beet Chews to give as a vitamin once a day. Beets are dynamic vegetables that are full of vitamins and proteins. Beets are strong antioxidants, making them great for liver, allergies, inflammation, immune system health, nervous disorders, and many other important health benefits.
All the exploring around the market made me crave something sweet to eat. Fortunately King of Pops had set-up a cart at the market! Every time I see these famous little carts I turn into a young child dying for some ice cream. King of Pops is even better than ice cream because its made from all natural ingredients and most are gluten free.
King of Pops is famous here in Atlanta for their original, eccentric flavors. Just to give you a few examples, King of Pops offers flavors like Cereal Milk, Coconut Banana Orange, Creamy Avocado, Kiwi Banana Honey, and Tangerine Basil. My personal favorite has been Blackberry Coconut and Strawberry Lemonade. All the frozen pops are made with agave, honey, or organic cane sugar. The fruit ones are made with fresh fruits purchased at local farmer markets. If you go to their website you can even see what farms they are purchased from.
I hope you all had a wonderful weekend and enjoyed the beautiful weather!
