Happy Sunday! I hope you all had a fabulous weekend like I did. Last night I had drinks with my lovely girlfriends at the Lawrence in midtown. Although this was not my first time there I always get taken back by this chic little restaurant. It is the perfect balance of modern and vintage. I first discovered the Lawrence by attending their sold out sneak peak dinner they were offering two years ago. It was exciting to know I was one of the very first people to experience dining at this fine establishment! Now two years later I still get excited to eat at the Lawrence. The food is wonderful but they are better known for their complex drinks. With some of the best mixologist in Atlanta working at their bar, the Lawrence knows how to make a memorable drink.
A Very Happy Sunday
“Cocktails are hand-crafted and designed to highlight your experience with us: whether a light aperitif during tea-time or before dinner; wine or cocktails paired with dinner; an after-dinner digestif; or simply a well-balanced, delicious libation to be enjoyed alone.”
I ordered their most popular drink, The Lady Lawrence. This drink awakens all your senses and I could definitely see why it was the most popular. It consist of vodka, lavender mint tea, ginger, cassis, lime, and soda. The ginger is probably the strongest of all the ingredients, making it taste extra refreshing. One of my friends ordered a Dark and Stormy which was suggested by a bartender. He said they were famous for it and that people came in just to have their version of it.
