Happy Friday my friends! Who is ready for the weekend? I sure am! Today I just wanted to do a little recap of a fabulous event I attended called A Really Good Strut at Westside Provisions District. The interactive evening of fashion began at 6 p.m., featured complimentary bites from award-winning District restaurants and signature cocktails provided by Georgia Crown. After mingling with fellow bloggers we watched the fashion show as models from Anthropologie, Calypso St. Barth, Free People, G. Gilbert and Pure Barre strut the latest fall fashions across the District’s iconic bridge. District tenant Dragonfly Salon provided hairstyling and makeup for the models while DJ Armor took care of the music.
The best part of the event is all proceeds from the evening benefitted Friends of Atlanta Waterworks, a Park Pride “Friends of the Park” group working towards the re-opening of local greenspace on the Westside. Nothing like enjoying a fashion show and good food for a great cause!
For those of you who are visiting Atlanta, you must stop at my favorite part of town, Westside Provisions District. This district is a distinctive retail, dining and residential destination that is located on Howell Mill Road between 14th Street and Huff Road, where Midtown Atlanta meets the Westside. This sophisticated mixed-use project offers some of Atlanta’s most desirable boutique retailers, showrooms and restaurants, complemented with 94 elegant condominium units. Retail tenants include Anthropologie, Atlanta Made, Billy Reid, Bungalow, Calypso St. Barth, Flor, Free People, G. Gilbert, J. Crew, Kayce Hughes, Knoll Furniture, Kolo Collection, Lululemon, Peridot West, Preserving Place, Room & Board, Seed Factory, Sid and Ann Mashburn, Simply Put, Star Provisions, Steven Alan and The Shade Store, as well as Dragonfly Salon and Pure Barre. Fine dining options include Brash Coffee, Dtox Organic Juice, JCT. Kitchen & Bar, Jeni’s Splendid Ice Creams, Little Bacch, Little Trouble, Ormsby’s, Taqueria del Sol, West Egg Café, Yeah! Burger and Anne Quatrano’s renowned restaurant Bacchanalia. For more information, visit www.westsideprovisions.com.
Happy weekend friends!
