Italy’s Finest in Atlanta: Tod’s Buckhead

Happy Monday my friends! I hope you had a wonderful weekend. Last week I had the pleasure of attending the grand opening of the Tod’s store in Buckhead. This fun evening was put together by the always fabulous- Caren West PR and  hosted by Michelle Crosland, Joanne Chesler Gross and Coy Wire. We enjoyed signature cocktails, prosecco, and savory and sweet bites from Dennis Dean Catering while watching a live demonstrations by an artisan flown in from Italy handcrafting the iconic Tod’s Gommino throughout the event. The new Tod’s boutique is dedicated to both the Tod’s women and menswear collections-bags, shoes, small leather goods and accessories. The best part of the event was that 10% of the evening’s sales were donated to Meals on Wheels Atlanta and a Meal to Remember 2015. Also, the parting gift was provided by  The Atlanta Flower Bar– which was the most beautiful gift I have ever received at an event!

The Tod’s craftsmanship is unlike any other. The creation of Tod’s products is a unique process in which Tod’s artisans, specialists that perpetuate a unique tradition, use the best quality leathers, which they cut, work, and sew by hand. Every single object becomes a unique piece, a masterpiece of handcrafted leather that is recognized and loved around the world.

Now for my outfit details- I wore this incredibly comfortable Catch Bliss Lyndsey Tunic to the event. Its a little short, even on me, so I would recommend wearing it with white skinny jeans. I can honestly tell you that it’s the most comfortable tunic I have ever worn! It has superior softness- made with 95% Bamboo and 5% Spandex. I also love the fact thats its made in the USA!

I wore my beautiful tunic with my Nordstrom wedges, HM Willow Sherri Bangle and my Louis Vuitton speedy. Since the tunic is flowy, I would recommend wearing a long, simple necklace with it.
