Happy Friday friends! Today I wanted to share a quick post on how I pickle my peppers! If you follow along my Instagram stories you’ve seen that every summer we plant a vegetable garden. This year we decided to add banana peppers to our garden! If you also have a garden, I highly recommend doing the same because not only are they easy to grow but they are delicious! Here is my super easy pickling recipe:
Ingredients:
2 cups white vinegar
2 cups apple cider vinegar
1/2 cup white sugar
1 tsp. garlic salt
1 lb. banana peppers, sliced in rings
Directions:
- Bring the vinegar, sugar and garlic salt to a rolling boil.
- Pour brine over peppers in mason jar (or other easy to seal jar).
- Wipe off the rim and put lid and ring on.
- Store in the fridge.
