I teamed up with FAGE to bring you this post. All photos, thoughts and opinions are my own.

Happy Monday friends! Today I am teaming up with FAGE Greek yogurt to share a delicious, super easy breakfast recipe with you! If you follow my Instagram account, you know that I absolutely love making smoothies and yogurt bowls for breakfast. I even tried making a savory cottage cheese bowl the other day and it was amazing! But if I had to pick my favorite breakfast option, it would be a simple yogurt bowl. It’s my go-to because it requires minimal prep time {literally just throw everything into your bowl and go} and is packed with protein and other nutrients. My current yogurt preference is FAGE Total 2% Plain Greek yogurt. Let me tell you why.
FAGE Total 2% Greek Yogurt
The plain Greek yogurt comes in three different options- 5% whole milk, 2% low-fat milk and 0% non-fat milk. Today I am going to focus on the 2% milk option because in my opinion, it is the perfect balance of rich flavor and creamy texture but with less fat than other options. It is also a guilt free option because it’s non-GMO and has no added sugar (contains only naturally occurring milk sugar). I recommend this product A LOT to my patients because it’s not always easy to find a yogurt with no added sugar.
Plain Yogurt: A Versatile Ingredient
An ingredient you will always find in my fridge is plain Greek yogurt. This is because it can easily be used at every meal! Here are a few examples of how I use FAGE Plain Greek Yogurt throughout the day-
- Breakfast: Yogurt Bowls!
- Lunch: Avocado Dressing made with Greek Yogurt
- Snack: Smoothies with Greek Yogurt
- Dinner: Lemon Dill Salmon with Greek Yogurt Sauce
These are just a few examples of how I cook with Greek yogurt throughout the day. I even use it for special dips like Buffalo Chicken Dip or Spinach Dip! It’s a great substitute for sour cream because it is packed with protein and minerals like calcium.

Yogurt Bowl Recipe
As mentioned before, this recipe is incredibly easy to make. The hard part is narrowing down what you want to put into your bowl! Here are a few ideas of potential toppings:
Fruit
- Strawberries
- Raspberries
- Blueberries
- Dragon fruit
- Orange
- Pomegranate
- Banana
- Figs
Crunchy
- Granola
- Almonds
- Pecans
- Dry cereal
- Toasted Coconut
- Flax or Chia Seeds
Creamy
- Nut Butters
- Spices {my personal fav, cinnamon}
- Honey
- Bee Pollen
Once you narrow down what you want to put into your yogurt bowl, the rest is easy. Put a few scoops of FAGE Total 2% Plan Greek Yogurt into a bowl. Top with pre-washed fruit, crunchy ingredient and creamy ingredient. Enjoy!!
