Happy Tuesday friends! Who could use a delicious poptail right about now? Well you are in luck, I’ve teamed up with my friends at Whole Fruit Frozen fruit bars to create this delicious and SUPER easy to make poptail! I am not kidding, this is the easiest drink you will ever put together. And it’s toddler friendly so it’s a fun one to make with your little helpers!
Whole Fruit Frozen Novelties
If you have ever scanned the aisles of the Publix frozen treat section, you probably saw Whole Fruit Frozen bars. Since my toddler is a huge popsicle fan, I actually bought a few boxes before this collaboration! What initially caught my eye is how they are made with REAL fruit and no high fructose corn syrup. Two things that are very important when I am picking out treats for my family. The ingredients are minimal which is why they taste like a real fruit treat.
For this recipe I went with the watermelon frozen fruit bars. They add the perfect amount of flavor when mixed with lemonade. As they melt into the lemonade they make the drink sweeter and more delicious! And the mint adds a perfect final touch!
Don’t forget this recipe is fun to make with your kids too. My toddler helped me make these and he loved how they turned out! I’m sure he felt that he was drinking something fancy with Mommy!
Also, if you are over 21 years old and not pregnant like me, you can add some champagne or prosecco to make this a boozy poptail.
Ingredients
- 2 Watermelon Whole Fruit Frozen Fruit Bars
- 1 cup sparkling lemonade
- 1 tablespoon fresh mint
Instructions
- Pour half a cup of sparkling lemonade into two separate glasses.
- Add one watermelon frozen fruit bar to each glass.
- Top with fresh mint and enjoy! Optional: Lightly muddle the mint before throwing into drink for an extra kick of flavor!
