Happy Wednesday pretty friends! I hope you are having a wonderful week. I don’t know about you but I could really use an adult spring break right now. Wouldn’t that be amazing if we had spring breaks in the adult world? Ha! Where would go on your spring break? I would naturally head back to my hometown of South Walton Beach, Florida! The white sands and emerald water cannot be beat! If you’re heading down to 30A Florida this spring break or summer I have a new restaurant for you to try- Chiringo.
About Chiringo
Chiringo is located off of 30A across from the beach. You can either sit outside, which is perfect if you’re in your swimsuit or inside where you can enjoy the view of the beach! The menu is inspired by a trip to southern Spain the owners took! The Chiringo team strives to recreate the amazingly simple days of Spanish beaches where fresh flavors, vibrant colors and great times dominate the landscape.
I had the pleasure of trying out Chiringo last time I was down in Florida with my Dad. We were welcomed to the beautiful restaurant by the friendly staff. I started out with a fresh squeezed strawberry lemonade, red beet hummus and the lump crab avocado toast. They were all great but the toast really stuck out because of how incredibly fresh the crab and avocado were. So good! Also, when I ordered the lemonade I found out that Chiringo squeezes all their fruit juices and uses local suppliers. My kind of restaurant!
For the entrees we had to go with their most famous dish- the grouper sandwich. After taking one bite we could immediately see why it’s so popular. If you are a seafood lover you must order the grouper!
Along with making delicious food Chiringo recently unveiled a new green space outside of the restaurant, which provides a dog-friendly water station, lounge chairs and bike rack. The 846 square-foot outdoor space provides a comfortable place to relax before dining, pit stop for cyclists along 30A and open area for kids to run around!
Whether you are looking for a freshly squeezed juice to take on the beach or you are looking for incredibly fresh seafood for lunch- Chiringo is your Grayton Beach spring break headquarters!
