Avalon Takeover: Noon to Night Fashion Show

Happy Thursday my friends! Today I’m doing a recap on my Avalon girls day take-over. For those of you who don’t know, Avalon is a shopping center in Alpharetta, Georgia. From shopping, to work-outs, to fine-dining- Avalon has so much to offer. I took over their Instagram account last weekend to showcase some of my favorite places to workout, get pampered, dine and shop! Here’s how to achieve a perfect girls day at Avalon-

Step 1: Friends at the Barre

If you’re going to workout, why not make it fun? And why not take your girlfriend? Shelby from Shelby Rae Photographs joined me Saturday morning for a little Barre Fusion class at Exhale. Our instructor, Holly, was dynamic and an amazing instructor. She kept us motivated the whole time and made the class super fun. But don’t get me wrong, she kicked out butts!

Exhale is one of my favorite work outs because although its a tough workout, its made fun by the instructors. They offer various classes from yoga to full out boot camp. They also sell fashionable workout gear- like the fun pants I’m wearing! They are super comfortable too!

 Step 2: Pampering

A girls day wouldn’t be complete without some serious pampering. Especially after a hard workout at Exhale. Fortunately for us Dry Bar has a location at Avalon. After working out we headed over to get our hair done. I went with big, relaxed curls while Shelby went with a more beachy look. It doesn’t get much better than mimosas and someone playing with your hair!

 Step 3: Delicious Lunch

One of the best parts about Avalon is the fantastic dining options. One of my favorite restaurants in all of Atlanta is Colletta Italian Food and Wine. After getting pampered at Dry Bar we headed over to grab lunch there.  We started out with some crostini’s, which came in assorted flavors. I then ordered my favorite dish- Black Pepper Tagliatelle. This pasta is made up of carbonara, pork tesa, egg yolk, chives, and pecorino romano. The egg yolk mixes perfectly in the pasta, making it unlike any other. Shelby went with a classic margarita pizza. Everything was delicious!

Step 4: Shopping

After a very delectable lunch, we headed off to do some shopping. We specifically went to a few retailers participating in Noon to Night. This included Kendra Scott, J. McLaughlin,  Lou & Grey,  Calypso St. Barth, and  fab’rik. I picked out some of my favorite looks at each place we went to- click on each picture to see what retailer it belongs too!

Avalon is joining forces with Bert’s Big Adventure for Noon to Night in Avalon, a Fall Fashion Benefit taking place on Thursday, September 17th from 6-9 p.m on Avalon Boulevard.
